Erdogan says Turkey will re-examine ties with EU after referendum

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he would re-evaluate the country’s relationship with the EU after the results of the April 16 referendum on the constitutional reforms. The Turkish President said in an interview to CNN Turk that he would examine his country’s economic, political and administrative ties with the EU anew, including the refugee agreement signed with the EU aimed at limiting flows into the continent. Mr. Erdogan claimed European countries were permitting rallies on their soil against his position on the referendum, but denied the right of rallies that supported his views. He went on to repeat his allegations against Germany regarding its support to terrorism.
