Greek opposition leader to visit cities of Naousa and Veria on Sunday

New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis will tour the cities of Naousa and Veria in central Macedonia on Sunday (April 23).

On Sunday morning, he will participate in an event marking 195 years since the destruction of Naousa from Ottoman Turks in 1822. He will then tour the archaeological site of Mieza and Vergina, as well as Vergina’s museum. His next engagement will be to visit the “Initiative for the Child” in Veria, which provides care and assistance to children in need or danger.
