Greek president congratulates outgoing French counterpart Hollande

Greek President Prokopris Pavlopoulos on Friday spoke by phone with outgoing French President Francois Hollande, with the former congratulating the latter over what he called the successful conclusion of the French socialist’s term in office.

The Greek president, who is elected by Parliament’s 300 deputies, also cited Hollande’s contribution within the EU, during a particularly crucial period for the Union.
