Interior Minister Panos Skourletis approved on Tuesday aid funds for Lesvos totaling 468,406 to tackle the serious damages in buildings and infrastructure after the strong earthquake last week and to help with the management of the refugee crisis.
Of those funds, 300,000 will be used to restore damages and, following a decision by Migration Policy Minister Yiannis Mouzalas, the remaining 168,406 will be used by the municipality to handle issues relating to migration.
