Greek Alternate Foreign Minister George Katrougalos met Montenegro European Affairs Minister Aleksandar Pejovic in Athens on Monday for talks on bilateral issues and matters of common European interest.
The meeting focused on expanding cooperation between Greece and Montenegro in energy and tourism within the context of the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) and Adriatic-Ionian Initiative.
Katrougalos also reaffirmed Greece’s steadfast support for Montenegro’s European prospects, a foreign ministry announcement noted.
