My vision is to make Thessaloniki and northern Greece a globally competitive pole of attraction for high technology products and innovation, main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced on Friday, during his visit to Thessaloniki’s Technopolis.
He met with with executives of businesses involved in developing innovation.
We have both the plan and the will to provide you with the opportunities to turn your business dreams into action, to teach a new generation of young people the concept of entrepreneurship, the concept of taking a business risk, but you must always be aware that business risk must be accompanied by the expectation of a reward,” Mitsotakis noted.
He also said that there is a need for a comprehensive legislative framework for innovative entrepreneurship, a shift to research programmes in Greek universities, applied research and tax incentives.
