Greece’s Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will meet with US President Donald Trump in Washington later this month after accepting an invitation from the White House, according to the following report by greekcitytimes.com:
Tsipras is scheduled to meet Donald Trump on October 17, during his official visit to the USA where he will discuss regional security, defence and terrorism as well as the issue of the Souda naval base on Crete island.
The Greek PM will take part in parallel meetings with US government officials whilst his meeting with the US President will also focus on bilateral issues, the refugee crisis as well as investments and collaborations in the field of energy.
