The European Parliament Committee on Regional Development (REGI) will discuss on Thursday at 10:15 the deadly flash floods in western Attica and the need for the immediate disbursement of EU aid funds.
According to a tweet by SYRIZA MEP Dimitris Papadimoulis, the proposal was tabled by GUE/NGL and the EPP and was unanimously approved.
REGI’s Chair, Iskra Mihaylova, noted the Committee has asked for the issue to be included in the next Summit meeting on November 29-30 in Brussels.
