New chief of European Commission Representation appointed in Athens

Clementini Diakomanoli was appointed on Friday appointed as the new head of the European Commission’s Representation to Greece, an announcement noted. Diakomanoli had been head of the Representation’s press department since 2015.

Diakomanoli had previously served as head of the press office of the European Commission’s Representation in Cyprus, since the country joined the EU in 2009. She has also served in the General Directorates of Communications, Environment, and Research and Technology in Brussels.

She studied Law at the Kapodistrian University of Athens, with post-graduate studies in penal law in France.
