Greece needs a change of policy with lower taxation and an acceleration of reforms, main opposition New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis noted on Wednesday, addressing the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) board, ANA reports.
“Our final goal is to have investments and growth, combined with social solidarity, and the means to achieve it are reforms, reduced taxes and a change in the policy mix. We have reached the point where some are celebrating having averted a disaster that they themselves very nearly brought about. Greece’s economy grew at the lowest rate in the Eurozone and did not succeed in making progress at a good conjunction,” Mitsotakis added.
