President of Hellenic Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos on Wednesday decorated the President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach with the Grand Cross of the Order of the Phoenix at the Presidential Mansion, ANA reports.
Addressing Bach, Pavlopoulos said:
“I deliver to you the Grand Cross of the Order of the Phoenix as a symbolic but also a tangible acknowledgment of your iconic services during your term as President of the IOC, with the hope that your term will be renewed in Athens in 2021.
