Greek Minister meets with German officials in Berlin on migration and wages

Greek Deputy Labor & Social Affairs Minister Domna Michailidou completed a two-day visit to Berlin on Friday to discuss with her counterpart the minimum guaranteed wage, jobs for people with disabilities, reuniting refugee families, and hosting unaccompanied children, according to ANA.

Michailidou met with Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Rolf Schmachtenberg to discuss the possibility of setting up a Europe-wide framework to include all national systems for a minimum guaranteed wage protection. She also discussed ways of including people with disabilities in the labor market, a priority for the Greek ministry and a sector in which Germany has extensive experience.
