The developments in the Mediterranean have been at the center of Nikos Dendias’ meeting with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi in Amman, the last stop on the Greek Foreign Minister’s Middle East tour, int.ert.gr reports.
“I think Turkey has been involved in a fight that it cannot win here, but we will continue our efforts, we will continue to seriously and modestly explain our position and I think in the end we will succeed”, notedMr. Dendias after his meeting.
“The signing of the Turkey-Libya Memorandum in exchange for Turkey’s military assistance to the Libyan regime, has provoked strong reactions, as neither the major powers nor the regional ones want to see a third country involved in the Libya crisis, as this would lead to general unrest throughout the region”, stressed the Greek Foreign Minister.
