Greece will not play challenge and confrontation games, but will “defend its national rights by air, sea, and land” if necessary, Alternate Foreign Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis told Skai TV on Saturday, ANA reports.
According to a press release by his office, Varvitsiotis also referred to the visit on Sunday of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to the United States, where he will meet with President Donald Trump. He told Skai that Mitsotakis is visiting Washington with ‘a strong agenda’, including the recently signed trilateral deal of the EastMed natural gas pipeline with Cyprus and Israel.
