Greek Premier receives Tourism Ministry leadership at Maximos Mansion

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday began a round of conferences with the leadership of ministries by meeting Tourism Minister Haris Theoharis, Deputy Tourism Minister Manos Konsolas and the Secretary-General for Tourism Konstantinos Loulis, ANA reports.

The PM welcomed them at the Maximos Mansion at 11:30, noting that this is the second round of meetings with the heads of ministries in the context of a six-month evaluation of the government’s work. “We did good work in the second six-month period and this is reflected in the revenues. The Thomas Cook issue was dealt with and now there will be a discussion on the planning of actions for 2020 and foundations will be laid for structural reforms,” Mitsotakis said.

On his part, Theoharis pointed out that substantial work has been done at his ministry and that the changes made to the organization of the state had beneficial results since it was the first major intervention that helped ministries that rely on coordination.
