“Eleftherios Venizelos proved that a small country, even in difficult times, can form its future if it remains loyal to the justified historical principles which are: The strong alliances abroad with growth inside and individual freedom with social welfare” noted Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in an article to the Sunday edition of Kathimerini newspaper.
The prime minister stressed that “Venizelos’ faith in liberalism and realism brought the country’s highest international success, the Greece of two continents and of five seas. This is the proof of the stature a smaller force can have on the international stage when it reads correctly the balances, has a long term plan, is determined and has a responsible leadership”.
