Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias described his participation at the 56th Munich Security Conference 2020 on Friday as an opportunity “to explain the peculiar situation we are facing in the Mediterranean and the problems created by Turkey’s stance in both Libya as well as in the wider region of the eastern Mediterranean,” ANA reports.
On the sidelines of the conference, Dendias met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, his North Macedonia counterpart Nikola Dimitrov and the foreign affairs ministers of Kuwait and Lithuania. He also held discussions with the Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates, with Germany’s co-leader of Alliance 90/The Greens Annalena Baerbock and with CDU/CSU Vice-President Johann Wadephul.
