Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday visited the National Centre for Blood Donation, where tests for the coronavirus using hi-tech machinery are carried out, and watched the processing of samples, from the initial stages of preparation to molecular analysis, ANA reports.
“What is happening here is very important,” he said and congratulated the staff, adding that it was important that Greece was able to exploit the center’s capabilities at a difficult time for the country, thus adding significant production capacity and carrying out additional and reliable molecular screening tests.
