Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias called the Turkish Supreme Court’s decision to annul the decision protecting the status of Hagia Sophia as a museum “a provocation to global cultural heritage and to UNESCO,” protothema.gr reports.
Mr. Dendias briefed his counterparts from the European People’s Party on Turkey’s provocative actions during a teleconference with the EU Foreign Affairs Council on Monday.
