The EU should examine all available legal means to ensure the delivery of agreed quantities of coronavirus vaccines, if talks with pharmaceutical companies over delays in distribution fail to resolve the issue, said European Council President Charles Michel in a letter to four European leaders on Thursday, according to ANA.
The letter was sent to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, and Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babis.
Michel was replying to a letter these state leaders sent him on January 19, raising the need for the speedy delivery of vaccines across the bloc, ahead of the January 21 EU Summit on the pandemic.
