The Greek foreign ministry on Monday expressed support for Italy over the death of the Italian Ambassador and a military policeman during an attack on a UN convoy in Congo, in a post on Twitter, ANA reports.
“We express our solidarity to #Italy &to our colleagues in @ItalyMFA for the death of Ambassador Luca Attanasio & a military policeman during an attack on a #UN convoy in Congo. FM @NikosDendias conveyed his condolences to #Italy FM @luigidimaio on the sidelines of today’s #EU #FAC,” noted the tweet.
