Management of the coronavirus pandemic and coordination of the EU member states related to it was the focus of an online EU leaders’ conference that Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis attended on Tuesday, ANA reports.
Mitsotakis referred again to his proposal for a Europe-wide certificate of inoculation for SARS-CoV-2, which will facilitate safe travel once pandemic developments permit full travel again, government sources said.
He also pressed for faster approval of new vaccines by EU agencies, following safety protocols but without bureaucratic delays.
