A plan to introduce general guidelines for telework from home in the post-coronavirus era will be presented at the cabinet meeting on Wednesday by Interior Minister Makis Voridis, according to ANA.
The draft bill will be initially targeted to services that do not require in-person transactions with the public. They relate mainly to employees in administrative and economic services, as well as information technology directorates.
Commenting on the plan, officials clarified that wages and schedules would not be affected and that the plan would be applied in some agencies on an experimental basis.
