Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias underlined the need to expand the membership of the Conference on Disarmament during his participation in the United Nations Conference on Disarmament 2021, via a recorded address due to protection measures against the COVID-19 pandemic, ANA reports.
The Greek foreign minister reiterated Greece’s expectation to become a full member of the Conference, recalling that it is the oldest observer and emphasizing how outdated it was that Greece should be “a hostage of unacceptable obstacles raised by another state, due to alleged bilateral issues.”
