President of the Hellenic Republic commences official visit to Slovenia

Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou laid a wreath at the Monument to the Victims of all Wars in Ljubljana during a two-day visit to Slovenia starting Thursday at the invitation of her counterpart Borut Pahor, ANA reports.

At a meeting with Pahor, Sakellaropoulou noted that the official visit, one of her first abroad amid the coronavirus pandemic, reflected the high level of relations between the two countries, which also share values and principles as EU partners and NATO allies. She added that the fact Deputy Minister for Economic Diplomacy & Openness Kostas Fragogiannis accompanied her to Slovenia underlined the potential for greater economic cooperation between the two countries.
