Greece’s Civil Defense and Crisis Management Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias is on an official visit to Russia from Monday to May 12, ANA reports.
He will meet with his counterpart Alexander Chupriyan, first deputy minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (EMERCOME), on boosting collaboration between the two countries in this sector.
They will discuss in particular prevention of natural catastrophes and technical know-how exchanges, as Greece is part of the EU’s RescEU mechanism of civil protection.
