Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu arrived in the northern Greek city of Alexandroupolis by air on Sunday and then traveled by road to Komotini for a private visit, ANA reports.
Cavusoglu arrived at the Turkish consulate in Komotini at 11:45, where he had meetings with members of the Muslim community before visiting the minority’s high school in Komotini, where he spoke with members of the school board and a group of students.
His last stop in Komotini will be the grave of former Rodopi MP Ahmet Sadik, while at 16:00 he is due to board a plane at Alexandropoulis to fly to Athens.
