Greek Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs Miltiadis Varvitsiotis met with Russian Ambassador Andrey Maslov in Athens on Wednesday, at the latter’s request, ANA reports.
Based on a statement by the minister’s office, they discussed preparatory work ahead of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ scheduled visit to Russia, as well as the need to convene the 13th Greece-Russia Joint Interministerial Committee, which is co-chaired by Varvitsiotis and Russian Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev.
