Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis discussed the multi-level cooperation of Greece and Belgium at a meeting with visiting Belgian Foreign Minister Sophie Wilmes, at Maximos Mansion on Wednesday, ANA reports.
The two politicians talked about the need for an equal distribution of responsibilities among EU member states concerning the migration crisis, while the EU’s new Migration & Asylum Pact is currently in the works.
Earlier in the day, Wilmes also paid a visit to the temporary Reception and Identification Center of Mavrovouni (Kara Tepe) on Lesvos island, while she is scheduled to meet with Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias on Thursday.
