The epidemiological condition in the country requires increased vigilance, government spokesperson Aristotelia Peloni said on Thursday during her briefing to the press, ANA reports. Nevertheless, she said, that the gradual prevailing of the variant Delta does not allow any complacency. We must observe the health protection measures, face masks, distances, she said.
Peloni also stressed that the vaccinations are expected to exceed 10 million on Thursday. “Already 5.520,000 have got the first dose of the vaccine and 4,730,000 million have completed their vaccination”. Referring to the opening of the platform for the prepaid 150-euro Freedom Pass card for the age group 18-25 on Tuesday, she said that over 140,000 young people have already applied for the FreedomPass. The card is valid until December 31 for purchases from Greek enterprises activating in the fields of tourism, culture, and transport.
