“The pandemic provided us – amid this unprecedented upheaval in our lives – with the opportunity to step up and improve the way we design public policies, but also the way we conclude to decisions as policy-makers,” Minister of State responsible for the coordination of government policies, Akis Skertsos, said on Wednesday during a workshop organized by the Joint Research Center of the European Commission (JRC) in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Coordination of the Presidency of the Greek Government, ANA reports.
The workshop entitled “Science for policymaking in Greece” is part of JRC’s online series of workshops “Strengthening and connecting eco-systems of science for policy across Europe,” which has attracted more than 500 participants all over Europe.
