Greek Foreign Minister to meet French counterpart in Athens on Friday

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias is to meet his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian at 11:00 on Friday. After the two foreign ministers meet at the Greek foreign ministry, there will be a broader meeting including the delegations of the two sides, followed by joint statements to the press at 12:15, ANA reports.
The discussion is expected to focus on the excellent level of Greek-French bilateral relations after these were upgraded through the signing of the Greece-France Strategic Partnership Agreement, developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Cyprus issue, developments in the Sahel, and enhancing cooperation on issues of common interest, a foreign ministry announcement said.
