President of Hellenic Republic tours downtown Athens stores on Christmas Eve

Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou paid a visit to Athens stores on Friday, Christmas Eve, ANA reports.

The president stopped by a bookstore on Akadimias, purchasing books for friends, and spoke with staff and customers.

She then walked to Evripidou Street and exchanged wishes with people she met on her walk. She paid a visit to an herb store, one with traditional cheese products, and another with cold cuts.
