The visit of Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias to Ukraine in the midst of the crisis with Russia is of particular importance, protothema.gr reports.
“Greece is always on the side of the Greek expatriates, especially in critical moments”, the Greek Foreign Minister stated on the eve of his visit.
Today, Mr. Dendias visited the 8th School of Special Learning of the Modern Greek Language in Sartana.
During his visit, he had the opportunity to meet with the teachers, the head of the military-political administration of Sartana, and members of the Greek community of the villages of Sartana and Chermalik, according to a relevant post of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Twitter.

In a cordial telephone conversation today, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias informed his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba about his visit to Mariupol, in order to stand by the Greek community and about Greece’s intention to strengthen its Consulate General in the city.
In this context, Mr. Kuleba thanked Greece for its decision not to withdraw the staff of its Embassy in Kyiv, according to a relevant post of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Twitter.
Mr. Dendias also reiterated that Greece, as a starting point, supports the independence and territorial integrity of all states.
