Israeli President to carry out official visit to Greece on Thursday February 24

Israeli President Isaac Herzog is to carry out an official visit to Greece on Thursday, February 24, at the invitation of the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou, ANA reports.

The Israeli president will commence his visit by laying a wreath at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier at 10:10 on Thursday morning, before making his way to the presidential mansion for the official welcoming ceremony at 10:25 and a meeting alone with President Sakellaropoulou at 10:35.

Immediately afterward, at 11:00, talks will start with the participation of delegations of the two sides and at 11:50, Herzog will visit the Maximos Mansion for a private meeting with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

An official lunch in honor of the visiting Israeli president is to be held at the presidential mansion at 13:00, while at 14:45 he is scheduled to meet Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyannis and at 16:30 with Parliament President Konstantinos Tasoulas.
