Foreign Ministry: Greek Sudan evacuees to be picked up from Djibouti

A Greek C-27 military transport aircraft took off from Aswan airport in Egypt on Monday evening to pick up a group of Greeks from Djibouti, following their extraction from Sudan, said Greek government sources, ANA reports.

Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias will brief political parties about the situation in Sudan on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Greek minister spoke earlier on Monday with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry about the further coordination of efforts to provide help to Greeks in Sudan and their extraction from the country.
