Greece taking necessary actions to prevent illegal crossings from Evros river

The Greek authorities are taking the necessary actions in order with respect to the national, EU, and international law, to prevent any illegal entrance of foreign nationals to the country, Prime Minister Ioannis Sarmas press office said on Sunday on the developments in Evros River, ANA reports.
According to the same announcement, on the last day, the low water level in Evros River favors the illegal crossings of migrants with the use of islets that belong to either the Greek or the Turkish territory. Roughly 80 migrants on such an islet entered the Greek territory.
