United States Congressmen open the way to sale of F-35s to Greece

The last of four signatures by leading US Congressmen in foreign relations committees at the Senate and House of Representatives opened the way on Thursday towards the proposed sale of advanced F-35 fighter jets to Greece, ANA reports.

The four required signatures included those of Senate Foreign Relations Committee chair Robert (Bob) Menendez (Democrat), vice-chair James Risch (Republican), House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs chair Michael McCaul (R), and vice-chair Gregory Meeks (D). Risch gave his approval on Thursday.
