Election centers nationwide closed at 19:00 on Sunday, as the first of two rounds of local government elections for regional governors and mayors came to an end, ANA reports.
The first reliable results on Greece’s 13 regions and its six biggest municipalities (Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Heraklion, Piraeus, and Larissa) are expected at around 22:00, said the Interior Ministry and voting systems operator Singular Logic.
