Greece’s Interior Minister Niki Kerameus on Friday announced the immediate start of a process of consultation with the parliamentary party representatives on the postal vote following her return from Paris, while speaking to the public broadcaster ERT, ANA reports.
Kerameus, who is chairing OECD’s Global Strategy Group meeting in Paris, referred to the Greek Diaspora’s keen interest in the specific initiative.
Asked about the possibility of the postal vote being implemented in the parliamentary elections as well, she said that the specific initiative exclusively concerns the European elections and referenda, noting that there is plenty of time to discuss the specific measure and its implementation in other elections.
