US Consul in Thessaloniki Jerry Ismail on Tuesday received the Archbishop of America Elpidophoros, ANA reports.
“Honoured to meet His Eminence Elpidophoros of America in Thessaloniki. Our discussion highlighted the strong bonds between the United States and Greece, rooted in our mutual respect for all and shared values. Our meeting today reinforced the bonds of unity, humanity, and compassion, especially as Archbishop Elpidophoros prepares to deliver his keynote address at the Holocaust Remembrance Day event on January 28,” Ismail noted on X (former Twitter).
