At the initiative of the President of the Committee of the Regions and Member of Parliament for the Dodecanese, Mr. Manos Konsolas, a joint meeting of the Committees of Regions and Environmental Protection of the Hellenic Parliament will be held on Wednesday morning, on fire protection and shielding of the country during the summer period.
The meeting will be attended by the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Mr. Yiannis Kefalogiannis, the Deputy Minister, Mr. Evangelos Tournas and the Secretary General of Civil Protection, Mr. Nikolaos Papaefstathiou, in order to provide detailed data on the readiness index and the strengthening of state fire protection structures with new personnel, volunteers and modern means.
