Minister: So-called luxury tourism in Greece up by 10%

The so-called “luxury tourism” has increased 10% and the tourist period has been significantly extended as a result of the government policy, Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura said in an interview with the Athens Macedonian News Agency’s radio station Praktoreio 104.9 FM.

Furthermore, the minister said, cultural tourism was promoted and more than 40 archaelogical sites have opened.
