Australian born Princess Mary and her Royal family of Denmark have arrived on Kos in Greece to spend their summer holiday, after the 6.6 magnitude earthquake hit the island on Friday.
According to a report by Greek TV station Star Channel, the earthquake did not stop the Royal family from visiting the beautiful island. Crown Prince of Denmark and Count of Monpezat Federik André Henrik Christian was accompanied by Crown Princess of Denmark Mary and their four children, Christian, Josephine, Isabella and Vincent.
They were caught on camera taking a walk at the port of Kos, which is wonderful promotion for the island’s tourism after they were devastated by the earthquake, which left two tourists dead and many buildings destroyed.
Tourism officials and local authorities note tourism is now operating normally, as the island’s infrastructure has not been affected by the earthquake and ferry connection has been reinstated.
