Four Greek citizens were listed on the annual Forbes list of the world’s billionaires, with a total of 2,153 people included. The billionaires’ total fortune is estimated at 8.7 trillion USD, naftemporiki.gr reports.
Shipowner Philip Niarchos is the first Greek on the list, with a net worth of 2.8 billion USD (804th), followed by shipping and banking tycoon Spyros Latsis (838th place, 2.7 billion USD), Telis Mistakidis of Glencore International (1,116th, 2.1 billion USD) and finally, Vardis Vardinogiannis, the patriarch of Vardinogiannis refining, shipping and commercial group (1,349th place, 1.7 billion USD).
