Giannoulis Cavo Spada Luxury Resort & Spa is once again honored to host some of the world’s top winter sports athletes as the Swedish Olympic Team returns for a training camp at the hotel’s premier sports facilities from May 10th to 17th.
This is the second time that the Swedish Olympic Committee has chosen Giannoulis Cavo Spada for its training, which confirms the high quality of the facilities and the strong and long-standing partnership with Apollo Resort and Apollo Sports in particular.
Nearly 100 top athletes will participate in the training, including many Olympic and World Champions. The Swedish Olympic Committee is expected to announce the first names that will represent the country at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
Some of the most important names that will be in the Giannoulis Cavo Spada are:
● Sara Hector – Olympic Gold Medal, Alpine Skiing
● Team Niklas Edin – Olympic Gold Medalists, Curling
● Team Anna Hasselborg – Olympic Gold Medalists, Curling
● Walter Wallberg – Olympic Gold Medal, Moguls
● Sandra Näslund – Olympic Gold Medal, Ski Cross
● Elvira Öberg – Olympic Gold Medal, Biathlon
● Sebastian Samuelsson – Olympic Gold Medal, Biathlon
● Ebba Andersson – Six-time World Champion, Endurance Skiing
● Frida Karlsson – Three-time World Champion, Endurance Skiing
