Two Greek hotels are among the 7 destinations in Europe that give the feeling of a tropical paradise, making visitors forget that they are on vacation in a European resort and that, instead, they are… in the Maldives, according to a relevant article published by the British newspaper The Telegraph.
These European destinations are compared to the Maldives as they are the epitome of luxury in tropical regions.
Among them are two hotels in Analipsi, Crete, and Kassandra, Halkidiki. Specifically, the British newspaper reports on the two Greek hotels:

Known for its beautiful beaches and relaxed atmosphere, Crete has a multitude of hotels. “The resort that most closely approximates the Maldivian feel, however, may surprise you,” says the Telegraph. Although it has overwater bungalows, Stella Island Luxury Resort & Spa (from £272) in Analipsi is set back from the coast. That’s because it’s not actually an island, but a hotel built around a vast artificial lagoon.
Stella Island (pictured above) faithfully replicates the Maldivian experience: it’s adults-only and bills itself as a “floating paradise,” with thatched-roof villas, wooden decks, and steps leading directly into the water, just like in the real Maldives.

Greece is full of dreamy beaches and, with warmer waters than elsewhere in Europe, its island chains score highly for their tropical feel.
