The first Italian official website for Russian touristes opened on Friday.
According to Italy’s Ambassador in Moscow, Cesare Maria Ragalini, the Latuaitalia.ru (your Italy) portal contains information for all Italian regions and cities, 1.800 hotels within the country, specific forms of tourism as well as the country’s artistic and cultural heritage, gastronomy and wine.
Online visa application
Russians can apply for a visa to the website by filling out a form with their details and paying the application fee and the Embassy, according to Mr. Ragalini, is waiting to grant the visas.
Italy is one of the most popular travel destinations of Russians. In 2014, it was visited by 1.2 million Russian citizens, who have spent in the country of over one billion euros.
