Holidays in Mallorca cost this year twice as those in Turkey for German tourists, according to the analysis of Frankfurt marketing company Simon-Kucher & Partners.
The firm compared the prices of the 10 most popular holiday destinations of Germans for a family of three to stay two weeks in all inclusive 4-star hotel.
According to its research, this package costs on average 698 euros per person in Turkey, 894 euros in Egypt, 922 euros in Tunisia, 941 euros in Bulgaria, 1,153 euros in Rhodes, 1,237 euros in Crete, 1,243 euros in the Canary Islands, 1,257 euro in Cyprus, 1,359 euros in Fuerteventura and 1,410 euro in Mallorca.
The company recommends that customers contact the travel agencies to be informed about the security situation on destinations to achieve the best prices for their holidays.
