Tourism professionals rely on Tornos News to keep them updated, while the overwhelming majority rate it as excellent and very good, highlighting the reliability of information and the quality of its content as the elements that make the specific news website stand out.
This is the main conclusion of a survey conducted by Focus Bari among the readers of www.tornosnews.gr, who completed the questionnaire presented in the Greek and International Edition of Tornos News and their respective newsletters.
A total of 612 readers completed the questionnaire, a number extremely satisfactory for a sufficient outcome, given that about 10 minutes were needed to complete the queries.
The survey duration lasted from May 5, 2017 to September 4, 2017.
The following research findings record that Tornos News is widely accepted by its readership which exceeds over 1 million unique users per year:
- 81% of visitors, related to tourism, all evaluate Tornos News as Excellent / Very Good. Taking into account the whole audience (and those not related to tourism but following the site), this figure is 76%.
- The reliability of information (average score of 4.1 with 5 for excellent) and content quality (average 4) is the evidence that makes Tornos News stand out.
- 7 out of 10 are loyal visitors to Tornos News and are returning to Tornos News often.
- 1 in 3 visit Tornos News daily and about 8 out of 10 at least once a week.
- 9 out of 10 state that they are very likely and will certainly continue to visit Tornos News in the future.
- 3 out of 4 visitors are related to the tourism industry.
- 55% of its readers are aged 35 to 54, 74% have upper level education, 79% are employed and 68% are men.
